Journalist who has been active since the early 1990s. He wrote the books Il prigioniero, dedicated to the story of Adriano Sofri and published in 2002, and Novantatré, a record of the Mani Pulite season published in 2016. He worked at Il Foglio and Libero before becoming chief editor of La Stampa, where he edits the "Buongiorno" column on the front page. He has been the editor of HuffPost Italia since 2020.
