Her books have been published in many countries around the world, from England to Thailand, from Holland to China, Russia and Israel. She is an eclectic writer who has achieved success with genre fiction as shown by the series The Mommy-Track Mysteries. Ironic, sharp and with a solid legal training, Ayelet Waldman is known in Italy mainly for Bad Mother (Rizzoli 2011) and Love and Other Impossible Pursuits (Rizzoli 2010) the film version of which, currently in post-production, is directed by Don Roos and stars Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow.

She is the author of numerous essays and articles published in The New York Times, the Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle, Elle Magazine and Vogue in which she has always stood out for the candor and insight of her analyses. She is married to Michael Chabon and has four children.
